If you need some footage, I can provide demo/test footage. Is it possibly a problem caused by the AppStore version which must run sandboxed? I'm totally unexperienced with the project settings, Delivery output should be 4K DCI 25p. My problem: using DaVinci Resolve Studio, it is definitely impossible to edit by DRS.Ĭan someone please help me and recommend and suggest some project and playback settings to make DRS playing that clips performant and free of drop frames? Making editing possible. The footage is on an external SanDisk Extreme Pro SSD (please see speed test screenshot attached). I'm often on the road, for lightweight is king that the tool of my choice is currently a MBA M1, 8 core, 16 GB RAM. It wasn't necessary to tweak any settings or render optimised media first, it just works out of the box. The footage is Canon RAW Movie (.CRM), rolled in Canon RAW Movie on a Canon R3.įor FCP, Canon offers a CRM plugin and using it, I can edit the clips flawless and without any drop frames in FCP. I once purchased the Studio version in the AppStore, so, no problem, isn't it? I am FCP user but the client prefers edit in DR.
